Itβs Read Across America Week! π
To help kick off this special celebration, several members of our Central Office staff from the Board of Education visited Putnam County Primary School to read to our Head Start and PreβK classes. Our youngest learners loved listening to stories and sharing in the joy of reading!
Read Across America is a nationwide initiative that encourages children to discover the magic of books and develop a lifelong love of reading. Moments like theseβwhere students hear stories read aloud, ask questions, and make connectionsβhelp build early literacy skills and spark imagination.
We are proud to support literacy from the very beginning and grateful to our staff for taking the time to make this week extra special for our students. π
